Rainy Day in Arizona

Today is a nice rainy day in Arizona.  I was going to participate in my stake 5k today, but it got postponed due to the weather.  The one nice thing about living in an apartment is that even though it's raining, our balcony is completely dry and the weather is so nice right now!  (Nice fresh air).  So Payton and I have had a fun morning just playing out on the balcony and relaxing.  Here are some pictures of our nice rainy day activities:

Goofy Girl eating breakfast.  She finished her sausage and eggs and I got up to get a drink and she grabbed my eggs and finished them off.
We ran errands, and of course she had to put make up on to go to Target
Holly gave us this sand table yesterday.  So we got some sand and some toys and Payton loves it!

Payton loves to poke her head out and say BOO

She climbed up her slide with the basketball, stood up and made a basket!  It was adorable

 Blowing Kisses

While I was making lunch Payton was "making lunch" in her kitchen as well

It's been a fun rainy day in Arizona!

Growing up (way to fast!)

I feel like Payton has grown so much lately!  It's crazy how fast she's growing and how much she's learning and retaining!  She loves to copy everyone, she loves to play with make up, play outside, and she is starting to pretend play.  The other day Payton was playing with her stuffed animals and she had crackers in her hand and was "feeding" them!  It was adorable.

Payton loves eating at the table (she used to hate it) and she's now using forks and spoons.

This was her first time having ketchup.  She loves it.

Payton loves to blow her nose!  (So much she went through a whole box in a day).

I bought a climber for Payton, and boy does she LOVE it!  When I was putting it together she would "help" me with it, more so she'd start climbing on it.  But she's had a blast with it and loves it.

Staring at it after it's finally put together

 Getting ready to go down.

Almost everyday we go out on our balcony so she can play on it, she loves it.

Payton has had a really bad cough for awhile, and hasn't been sleeping through the night.  So on Friday I took her to the doctors (her doctors office has a Twilight Pediatrics), just to make sure everything is okay.  Thankfully nothing is wrong!

 Happy Baby at the Doctors

Even better news is that last night Payton slept through the whole night without waking up!  It has been WEEKS since she's slept through the night (last time she slept through the night was in Minnesota).

Playing outside.

Playing with make up.  (We were taking this video for Ga-Ga).  I love how we could see ourselves on the screen and she tries to put make up on us.

18 Months

I can't believe that this cute little thing is already 18 months old!  Seriously, where has the time gone?

(she took this picture of herself)

Payton's18 month stats are the following:  24 pounds 14 ounces (50th Percentile), 33.5 inches long (90th Percentile), and of course she wouldn't be a Wilson if her head circumference wasn't in the 95th Percentile (19.25 inches).

I swear she is growing up way too fast!  She is saying more and more words; "Yeah" and "No" and "HEY!" are favorites.  But she can say Grandma (Ga-Ga) and Grandpa (Ga-Pa ) along with a lot of other words.  Payton refuses to actually say the word please (if you asked her to say please she'd get really sad and start crying), but she can sign please and will actually sign it a lot.  She is understanding more and more each day and it is so much fun to watch her learn and grow.

Payton has started eating with a fork or a spoon.

This was one of her first attempts

She's gotten a lot better since, not nearly as messy :)

Payton is a very lovable, outgoing baby.  She loves to say Hi to anyone and everyone, and if they don't respond to her, she'll keep saying hi until she gets a response.

Saying hi to people at the airport on our way home

Payton has a wonderful personality that is so much fun!  She has a great sense of humor and is a super funny baby!

I promise she loves me

I feel so blessed to have such a cute, happy, wonderful, healthy baby girl.  I love her more than anything, and I can't wait to see how much she grows in the next couple of months!

I love you Payton!

Christmas

Payton and I went to Minnesota for Christmas with my family.  It was a lot of fun to be with everyone, we missed Jonathan and Amanda's family and Michael and Marie's family as well.  But it was nice to spend time with family none the less.

We were able to do lots of fun things like go to the Hollidazzle parade, Payton's first "hair cut", on a sleigh ride, eat lots of food, Timberwolves game and go to the zoo.  I feel like Payton grew up a ton during our trip.  She loved having people around all the time, and especially people her age.  (Payton and Everett became best of friends).

Here are some pictures to help summarize our trip:

All bundled up for the Hollidazzle

It may or may not have been a little cold.  We didn't last long.
