My parents were called as mission president and wife of the Richmond, Virginia mission. They entered the MTC today. Before they left we decided to have one last family vacation (Perfect reason to get everyone together!). So at the end of May Payton and I flew out to Minnesota. We got there a couple of days before everyone else to help mom and dad pack. Although I'm sure I could have been a lot more helpful than I was, I tried.
Oh Monday June 10th we drove up to Alexandria to stay at Arrowwood Resort for the week. It was the perfect getaway! The cottages we stayed in were perfect, and who can complain about going to the water park every day?? It was a lot of fun, the scenery was GORGEOUS and the company was superb. Who can complain about sitting on the patio for almost every meal and letting the kids run around outside? I think it's safe to say that it literally was one of the best family vacations ever.

I think Payton's favorite part of our room was the phone. She'd run to it and start having a conversation right away.

After we got back from from Alexandria we had family pictures. We went to Excelsior Bay and took some great pictures! They turned out great!
