Lauren and Payton: Recent Happenings

So Payton is sick and I'm home from work with her. She has a double ear infection and had a fever of 101 all night last night until recently. I figured this would be a good time to catch up on the blog.

Payton had an off day yesterday and kept grabbing her ears. Long story short, I left work a little early to get her to the doctors (Paige scheduled the appointment for me), as we pulled in the parking lot she started throwing up EVERYWHERE. That was special.

Sure enough she has two bad ear infections and a fever. I went to Walgreens afterwards to get her prescription filled and they couldn't fill it because they needed a supervisors signature. Apparently the guy we saw was a P.A. and they needed another signature as well. (I wanted to cry and felt so bad she couldn't have her medicine right away).

Payton and I woke up at 5:00 this morning. I called the sub hotline and then we had to go to school to get ready for my sub. She was happy to be there and running around, but obviously it tired her out too.

She fell asleep on the way home (around 8:15)

Thankfully when she woke up from her nap her fever was gone! Her ears still bother her a lot, but we finally started her antibiotics.

Here are some random pictures of recent events. We got to spend some time with Elizabeth last weekend! She had a track meet here and we got to go watch her. I've missed track meets (I LOVED going to see her in the state track meet every year when she was in high school). So it was a lot of fun to see her and watch her in a track meet again.

They also had a lot of music playing a lot, and any time it came on Payton would dance. She LOVES dancing and loved having all eyes on her. Here is a short video of one of her many dances.
